(ORAL) Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for quashing of FIR No. 49 dated 26.04.2016 (Annexure P-2) registered under Section 67 of the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008, Police Station Women, District Patiala and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom.
Learned counsel for respondent No. 2-complainant submits that she has no objection in quashing of impugned FIR No. 49 dated 26.04.2016 (Annexure P-2), on the basis of compromise dated 24.01.2017 arrived at between the parties before the mediation and conciliation Centre of this Court, forwarded to this Court by the Mediator. In view of the above factual aspect of the case, the impugned FIR No. 49 dated 26.04.2016 (Annexure P-2), under Section 67 of the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008, Police Station Women, District Patiala and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, qua the petitioner is quashed.
