**** ALKA SARIN, J. (ORAL) The present appeal pertains to the year 2001. Record of the present case was completely burnt in the fire which took place in the Registry. Despite best efforts, the file could not be reconstructed. Today learned counsel for the State has contended that he does not have the paper book. In fact, he is also not in a position to state as to whether the present appeal stands decided or is still pending.

In view of the above, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present appeal for non-prosecution. Dismissed for non-prosecution.
