RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for issuance of direction to the respondents to conduct further/de novo investigation from SIT in case FIR No.2 dated 20.01.2014 registered under Section 22 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Dugri, District Ludhiana.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after framing of charge on 30.07.2015, since last three years, the prosecution is not concluding its evidence deliberately for the reasons best known to it. Considering this aspect of the matter, prosecution is directed to conclude the entire evidence preferably within six months. Consequently, trial Court is directed to proceed with the trial on day-to-day basis. Disposed of.
