The petitioner in this case is the father of the complainant, who is a major. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the complainant is residing in India. Though she has not authorised the petitioner to file this petition or take any action on her behalf, this petition has been filed in his capacity as the complainant's father. It is stated that FIR No.54 dated 12.06.2014 has been quashed against the accused Surjit Singh and Ajmer Kaur by this Court on 02.09.2016 in CRM No.M-38485 of 2014. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw this petition in view of the lack of any authorization on behalf of the complainant to file this petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
