Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the action of respondent No.2, rejecting the request for grant of notional/consequential benefits on their promotion to the post of lecturer issued vide order dated 13.08.2019, Annexures P-19 to P-25.

Learned State counsel submits that the seniority list after having been quashed, has been now finalised on 28.06.2024, in view of which, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that a representation will be submitted giving details of the persons, who are similarly situated and granted benefit as sought by them, which may be directed to be decided in a time bound manner to which learned State counsel has no objection.

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents that in case petitioners submits representation/s within a period of 4 weeks, the same shall be considered and decided, within a further period of 4 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and MOHIT 2025.04.04 10:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
