ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) 1.

The petitioner is seeking concession of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.28 dated 26.02.2020 under Sections 420, 467, 468,471, 120-B of IPC registered at Police Station Jandiala, Amritsar. 2.

As per allegations in the FIR, petitioner along with others has formed a gang. Said gang indulges in the racket of stealing luxury vehicles and sell the same by changing their engine and chassis numbers with the condemned vehicles bought from insurance companies. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner belongs to a reputed family and has been falsely implicated in the case. He further submits that police demanded illegal gratification of Rs.3,00,000/- from the petitioner, which demand he failed to fulfill. Due to this reason he has been dragged in a frivolous case.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as also learned State counsel and having gone through the detailed reply filed by the State, this Court is of the view that the investigation is still at very preliminary stage. CRM-M-12748 of 2020 (O&M) -2stage, it is too pre-mature to accept the argument of learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has been falsely implicated. 5.

In the premise, at this stage, no ground to seek concession of bail is made out.
