SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 6, parents and brother of petitioner No.1. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 15.05.2015 (Annexure P-5) made by petitioner No.1. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Baljeet Kaur is 09.12.1994 as per her affidavit (Annexure P-1) and as per copy of Ration Card (Annexure P-2), the age of petitioner No.2Gurpreet Singh was 11 years as on 10.01.2006 (date of issuance of Ration Card). They got married on 13.05.2015. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-4.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of SACHIN MEHTA 2015.07.28 17:02 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M-24484-2015 -2marriage of petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar (Mohali) to look into the representation dated 15.05.2015 (Annexure P-5) and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of certified copy of this order.
