(ORAL) Petitioners are seeking a direction from this Court to respondents No.2 & 3 to protect their life and liberty as they apprehend danger to their life & liberty from respondents No.4 to 8 i.e. relatives of the petitioner No.1, who are objecting to the marriage solemnized by the petitioners.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Lakhwinder Singh, submits that the statements of the petitioners have been recorded by the police, wherein, they have submitted that as of now there is no threat perception from private respondents.
