Prayer made in the present petition is for granting the benefit of promotion to the post of Principal/PES, based on the seniority of Lecturer Cadre dated 20.11.2015, wherein erroneously the petitioners have been shown junior to respondent No.4.

Learned State counsel on instructions states that the aforesaid seniority has since been quashed by this Court and the same is now under consideration for finalisation.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file representation/s, if required, after the final seniority list is made.
