ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN, J. (Oral) The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.46 dated 26.02.2020 registered under Sections 420 IPC and 13 of the Punjab Travel Professionals (Regulation) Act, 2014 at Po1ice Station Ranjit Avenue District Po1ice Commissioner Amritsar City. The operative part of the order dated 27.05.2020, vide which interim anticipatory bail has been granted to the petitioner, is reproduced as under:- "....Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a lady and as per the allegations in the FIR, registered at the instance of Kuldeep Sharma, he has paid amount to co-accused Ranjit Singh for sending him abroad and there is no direct allegation that he had handed over any amount to the petitioner. Counsel for the petitioner further submitted that Ranjit Singh was arrested MOHD YAKUB 2020.07.06 14:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.

CRM-M No.12960 of 2020 (O&M) and has already been released on regular bail by the Additional Sessions Judge, Amritsar vide order dated 18.4.2020. Counsel for the petitioner further submits that even there was an agreement between the parties vide which the matter stands settled.

Mr. Amit Mehta, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, who is appearing through video conferencing, accepts notice on behalf of the State. He, however, opposes the prayer on the ground that the allegations against the petitioner are of serious nature.

Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that, in pursuance to the order dated 27.05.2020, the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and has joined the investigation. Counsel for the State has not disputed the aforesaid fact and submits that the petitioner is no more required for further investigation.

In view of the above, this petition is allowed and the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 27.05.2020 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
