CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMAN CHAUDHARY ***** Present :
Mr. Vivek Sharma, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Arun Gupta, DAG, Punjab.
***** AMAN CHAUDHARY, J. (Oral) 1.
Prayer made in the present petition is for challenging the order dated 07.10.2024, Annexure P-6, rejecting the request of the petitioner on the ground that there is no post vacant either in Amritsar or in surrounding district.
2.
Learned counsel refers to the order dated 03.03.2025, Annexure P-7, whereby certain posts have fallen vacant due to promotion of the employees, against which he can now be considered. 3.
Learned State counsel, on instructions from Mr. Gulzar, Senior Assistant, states that the said posts are still being occupied by the incumbents and as and when they shall fall vacant, the claim of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law, which satisfies the learned counsel for the petitioner.
4.
Disposed of accordingly.
