At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner states that as per the case status on the e-Courts services web portal, the petition filed by respondent-husband under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, registered as HMA 168/2020 titled as Bharpoor Singh vs. Anita Kaur, pending before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Ludhiana, which has been sought to be transferred, was dismissed for want of prosecution on 05.12.2022. He, thus, prays that the present petition has been rendered infructuous and the same be disposed of as such.
