(Oral) Report dated 11.8.2014 of learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Ludhiana has been received after recording statements of accused Satinder Singh Angpal, Pritpal Singh Angpal and Gurmeet Kaur as well as complainant Harmanjeet Kaur and the learned court has shown its satisfaction that the compromise is an outcome of voluntariness, free will and without any coercion or undue pressure. In support of this, Harmanjeet Kaur has placed on record her duly sworn attested affidavit which is taken on record and the fact that she has received a sum of Rs 11,33,000/- being balance amount out of the total settled amount of Rs 34 lacs by way of demand draft dated 26.10.2015 drawn on Punjab National Bank and that no amount is due on account of this settlement and all claims and counter DALBIR SINGH TIWANA 2015.11.02 10:43 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document.

Criminal Misc. No. M-27470 of 2013 -2claims have been finally settled between the parties. In the light of the satisfaction shown by the Court and in view of the fact that it is a pure matrimonial dispute and compromise will go a long way in ironing out the differences and for betterment of their future life and being young there are chances of their remarriage and in view of the law laid down in Gian Singh vs State of Punjab and another, 2012 (4) RCR (Criminal) 543 and Kulwinder Singh and others vs State of Punjab and another, 2007(3) RCR (Criminal) 1052 and in view of which the prayer made in the petition is allowed, proceedings by way of FIR No. 64 dated 12.6.2013 registered at Police Station Women Cell, Ludhiana under sections 406, 498-A IPC and all consequences arising thereof are quashed qua the present petitioners. The petition stands allowed in those terms.
