The petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in respect of FIR No.20 dated 26.2.2019 under Sections 498-A, 406, 323 IPC, Police Station Mukerian, District Hoshiarpur.

Learned State counsel upon instructions from ASI Balwinder Kaur has informed that the petitioner who is father-in-law of the complainant has been declared innocent during investigation.

In view of the aforesaid submission, no case warranting custodial interrogation is made out. Accordingly the petition is accepted and the interim directions issued vide dated 25.3.2019 by this Court are hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner would appear before Investigating Officer as and when called upon to do so and GAURAV SOROT 2019.08.23 10:27 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
