The substantive prayer made in the petition reads thus: 'It is therefore, respectfully prayed that present may kindly be allowed and consequently:- respondents be directed to investigate the case impartially through some independent agency like crime branch or, in alternative under the supervision of some senior police official not below the rank of IPS; in the interest of justice.
AND direction to register the separate FIR by converting General Dairy no.015 dated 15.12.2024 registered at PS Nihal Singh Wala District Moga against the private respondents; May kindly be issued; AND/OR direction to arrest the accused person mentioned in GD no. 015 dated 15.12.2024 registered at PS Nihal Singh Wala District Moga; may kindly be issued.'

CRM-M No.13822 of 2025 (O & M) -22. Learned State counsel (on instructions) has submitted that the investigation qua the FIR as also the GD has since culminated and final report regarding the same has been presented before the concerned Court, which is pending adjudication.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of, reserving liberty in favour of the concerned parties to agitate the relief(s) before the concerned Court as per law.
