The present revision-petitioner has come up seeking issuance of appropriate directions to the court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Amritsar for expeditious disposal of the case bearing CIS No. HMA/1500/2017, titled as Simranjit Kaur @ Simar vs Varinder Singh @ Romi.

The main grouse of the petitioner is that case under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 for dissolution of marriage by decree of divorce is pending since 23.5.2017 but till date nothing tangible has been undertaken.
