(Oral) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.41 dated 12.2.2019 under Sections 376, 506 IPC registered at Police Division No.5, Ludhiana. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to order dated 14.5.2019 of this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Pradeep Singh, does not dispute the aforesaid fact. He further submits that the matter has been investigated and cancellation report has also been prepared in the case and the same is likely to be presented in Court in due course.
