NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) The present petition is filed for direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to provide protection of life and liberty to the petitioners at the hands of the private respondent.

Mr.Gagandeep Wasu, Standing counsel for UT, Chandigarh, accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3. Copy of the petition be supplied to him during course of the day, if not already provided. Without going into the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh, to look into the threat perception and take appropriate action, if so required.
