SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 to 13, parents and other relatives of petitioner No.1. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 25.07.2015 (Annexure P-4) made by petitioner No.1. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Harinder Kaur is 02.03.1993 as per her affidavit and the year of birth of petitioner No.2-Tarun Paul Singh is 1991 as per copy of Aadhaar Card (Annexure P-1). They got married on 25.07.2015. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-3.
In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of marriage of petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to SACHIN MEHTA 2015.07.29 15:44 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
