Mr. Tarun Singla, Advocate appears on behalf of respondent No.1. On the asking of the Court, Ms. Monika Jalota, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.2-State. A copy of the application has been handed over to learned counsel for the respondents. Learned counsel for the applicant/petitioners submits that the main petition seeking clubbing of protest petition in FIR No.43 dated 10.03.2006 under Sections 452/323/324/326/354/34 IPC pending before the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Phillaur and cross-complaint titled as 'Jatinder Omkar Singh 2018.03.01 17:29 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM No.M-24872 of 2014(O&M) -2Singh v. Jaswinder Singh etc. pending before the learned Illaqa Magistrate, Phillaur, has been rendered infructuous as the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalandhar vide order dated 29.11.2017 has clubbed both the abovesaid cases. Learned counsel for respondent No.1 verifies and confirms the abovesaid averments.

With the consent of the parties, the hearing of main petition is preponed from 30.04.2018 for today.

In view of the facts mentioned as above, the main petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous. ( LISA GILL ) February 28 , 2018.
