******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 439 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.248 dated 23.11.2017 registered for offences punishable under Sections 307/326/324/323/148/149 of Indian Penal Code (for short, "IPC") at Police Station Division no. 6, Ludhiana.

Heard.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that co-accusedSagar with similar allegations has been allowed regular bail by this Court vide order dated 20.04.2018 passed in CRM-M-14727-2018. No specific injury has been attributed to the petitioner. Learned State counsel submits that petitioner is also accused in two other cases bearing FIR No. 102 dated 13.05.2017 and FIR No. 35 dated 13.05.2017, registered at Police Stations Division no. 6 and Daresi, Ludhiana.

Keeping in view the nature of allegations against petitioner and Jitender Kumar 2018.06.20 09:11 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document HIGH COURT, CHANDIGARH

CRM-M-25805 of 2018 -2the fact that co-accused-Sagar with similar allegations has already been allowed bail by this Court, the instant petition is allowed. Petitioner-Raja Oberoi @ Satmit Singh is ordered to be released on regular bail on furnishing bail bond and surety bond to the satisfaction of concerned trial Court/Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, subject to following terms:- (a) The petitioner shall comply with the conditions mentioned in Section 437(3) Cr.P.C.

(b) In the event of his absence on any date of hearing, the benefit of bail allowed to the petitioner shall stand withdrawn. The trial Court shall be competent to cancel his bail bond and surety bond and proceed to procure his presence in accordance with law. In that eventuality the petitioner shall have to apply for bail afresh. (c) He shall not leave the country without the previous permission of the Court.
