*** Anupinder Singh Grewal, J. (Oral) Case taken up through video conferencing.

The petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in G.D.No.51 dated 15.02.2021 under Sections 323, 324, 148, 149 IPC (Sections 326 and 34 IPC added later on and Sections 148 and 149 IPC were deleted later on) in FIR No. 13 dated 08.02.2021 under Sections 325, 323, 506, 34 IPC registered at Police Station Hoshiarpur, District Hoshiarpur. A co-ordinate Bench of this Court on 27.04.2021 had passed the following order:

"Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners herein have been falsely implicated in the instant case. It is, inter-alia, argued that it is a case of version and cross version. In fact, no injury has been attributed to the petitioners herein in the statement given by the complainant. It is submitted that interrogation of the petitioners would not be required as no recovery is to be effected from them and they are ready to join the investigation.

CRM-M-16867-2021 -2Mr. Bhupinder Beniwal, AAG, Punjab, who is present through the medium of video conferencing, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and seeks time to file reply.

Meanwhile, the petitioners are directed to join the investigation within a period of one week and on their doing so, in the event of arrest the petitioners be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioners shall continue to join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C." Learned State counsel, upon instructions from ASI Sukhwinder Singh, states that the petitioners have joined investigation. In view of the above and the petitioners having joined investigation, the Covid-19 Pandemic, the order dated 27.04.2021 granting interim bail to the petitioners is made absolute. However, the petitioners shall abide by the conditions stipulated under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. They shall also join investigation as and when called upon to do so.

The petition stands disposed of.
