This is the second petition for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 129 dated 27.09.2019 registered under Sections 21 and 22 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station Dina Nagar, District Gurdaspur. Upon instructions from ASI Surjit Singh, State counsel submits that all the 10 prosecution witnesses have been examined and the trial is now fixed for 07.09.2021 for defence evidence, if any and arguments. Keeping in view the fact that the trial is at the fag end, the concession of regular bail cannot be extended to the petitioner.
