Though the allegations against the petitioner are serious but in view of the fact that he was not arrested from the spot and escaped along with six others when recovery of 100 bags of poppy husk was effected from five persons, apprehended on the spot, he can be granted the concession of pre-arrest bail, having joined the investigation. It has been informed that during pendency of the petition, challan has also been presented. The petition is allowed and interim order dated 8.12.2014 is hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner will continue to appear before the trial court against the bail bonds already furnished. He will not absent himself without any sufficient cause and will not make an attempt to tamper with the evidence.
