Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 ('Cr.P.C.' for short) seeking directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to hand over the investigation of case DDR No.8, dated 23.04.2008, under Section 174 Cr.P.C. to the Central Bureau of Investigation. Heard.

Petitioner has submitted that his son had been murdered by respondent No.6 and her companions. However, the police had not properly investigated the case and the investigation of the case was liable to be handed over to Central Bureau of Investigation.

Since, in the present case, cancellation report has already been submitted in the Court, this petition is disposed of with a direction that petitioner, if so advised, would be at liberty to challenge the cancellation report by filing a protest petition.
