H. S. Madaan, J. (Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has since joined the investigation.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Karam Singh, Police Station Cheema, Sangrur, submits that the petitioner has in fact joined the investigation and has furnished an affidavit that he does not hold any passport and further since recovery has been effected, his custodial interrogation is not necessary and he is not required by the local police in connection with further investigation. In these circumstances, the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 25.7.2018 is made absolute, subject to fulfillment of conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. The petition in that way is allowed.
