Through the instant petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C., the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 23 dated 26.03.2022, registered under Section 61 of the Punjab Excise Act, 1914 and Section 420 IPC, at Police Station Sadar Nawanshahar, District SBS Nagar. Vide order dated 19.04.2022, ad interim anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioner.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties. In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 19.04.2022 granting ad interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions envisaged in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
