**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case FIR No. 76 dated 10.04.2018 under Sections 498-A & 406 IPC registered at Police Station Chamkaur Sahib, District Rupnagar.

This Court was pleased to pass the following order on 13.06.2018 :- "It is the contention of learned counsel for the petitioners that as per the FIR itself, after the marriage of the parties, the husband and wife had gone abroad and have been staying there for the last three years. Counsel contends that it is in Canada that the relations between the husband and wife became sore and it is now that Kirandeep Kaur had come to India that the present FIR has been lodged with an intention to harass and humiliate the petitioners just to wreck out her vengeance. CRM-M-25931-2018 -2states that the petitioners are ready and willing to join investigation and cooperate with the same. Notice of motion for 06.09.2018. In the event of arrest of the petitioners, they shall be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of Investigating/Arresting Officer subject to the conditions contained in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C."

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have joined the investigation.

Learned counsel for the respondent-State, on instructions from the Investigating Officer, confirms the factum of joining investigation by the petitioners.

Since the petitioners have joined the investigation, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 13.06.2018 is hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioners will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation; will not leave India without permission of the Court and will comply with the conditions contained in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
