In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the order dated 04.03.2020 (Annexure P-1) as well as the notice dated 14.03.2023 (Annexure P-2), vide which the petitioner was discharged from duty w.e.f. 31.03.2023, on attaining the age of 58 years. 2.
In the present writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is entitled to continue till the age of 58 years as there is no age of retirement in the rules.

Learned counsel appearing for the parties are ad idem that the issue involved in the present writ petition has already been decided by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in CWP No.8476 of 2020 titled as Balbir Singh and others Vs. State of Haryana and others, along with connected matter, decided on 29.09.2025, wherein it is held that the Home Guards are to retire at the age of 58 years. In view of the above statement made by learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is dismissed in terms of Balbir Singh and others' case (supra).
