[1] The matter has been taken up for hearing through video conferencing due to COVID-19 situation.

[2] The revision petition is filed, aggrieved of order dated 7th March, 2020 passed by the Additional District Judge, Rupnagar whereby the stay of operation of judgment and decree dated 20th March, 2018 passed by Civil Judge (Junior Division), Rupnagar was rejected.

[3] The facts in brief are that a suit for declaration was filed by the petitioner to the effect that he was joint owner in possession with respondent No.1 of property in dispute, the suit was dismissed. The respondent No.2 in the present petition is purchaser of share of the property in dispute. CR No.1872 of 2020 (O&M) issued only qua respondent No.2 and the dispossession of the petitioner was stayed on 29th May, 2020.

[4] Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the appeal fixed for 8th June, 2020 has been adjourned to 11th August, 2020 due to COVID-19 situation. They undertake that they will not seek any adjournment in the said appeal. [5] The present petition is disposed of with the direction to the appellate Court, either to dispose of the appeal on 11th August, 2020 if conditions and Court's working is normal or to dispose of the same at priority as and when the normal Court's working resumes. Till then, the parties shall maintain status quo as on 29th May, 2020.
