(ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.70, dated 22.03.2019, registered at Police Station Gobindgarh Mandi, District Fatehgarh Sahib, under Sections 420 & 120-B IPC (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2).

Pursuant to order dated 27.03.2023, report dated 02.05.2023 has been received from Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Amloh, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them with their free will, without any threat, coercion or undue influence. 3.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.70, dated 22.03.2019, registered at Police Station Gobindgarh Mandi, District Fatehgarh Sahib, under Sections 420 & 120-B IPC (Annexure P-1) along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioner.
