(ORAL) In the present writ petition, the petitioners are praying that the services rendered by them during the Second National Emergency should be counted towards pension as held by the Division Bench of this Court in CWP No.17661 of 2013, decided on 13.11.2014. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that in respect of the claim, which has been made in the present writ petition, the petitioners have served the respondents with a legal notice on 05.06.2018 (Annexure P-7), which is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioners will be satisfied, in case a time bound direction is given to the respondents to decide their legal notice dated 05.06.2018 (Annexure P-7).

CWP-7956-2019 -2Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case as well as in respect of the claim made by the petitioners, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to decide the legal notice dated 05.06.2018 (Annexure P-7) of the petitioners by passing a speaking order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
