Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in case the order dated 06.02.2024 (Annexure P-6) has not been complied with so far and all the benefits for which the petitioner is entitled for to be released after his retirement, have not been released, the same will be released to the petitioner within a period of six weeks of the receipt of copy of this order. 7.
Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the respondents be directed to decide the claim of the petitioner for the grant of interest also as there was no impediment in the release of the pensionary benefits and as per the judgment of the Full Bench of this Court in A.S. Randhawa Vs. State of Punjab and others, 1997(3) SCT 468, the petitioner is entitled for the grant of interest.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the claim of the petitioner for the grant of interest will also be considered while releasing the pensionary benefits and if the petitioner is found entitled for, the same will also be released to him otherwise due reasons will be given in the speaking order for not accepting the claim of the petitioner for his information.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned counsel for the respondents, the present writ petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 10.
