*** RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J. (ORAL) Present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to expedite the partition proceedings filed vide partition application No.58/19/TP dated 16.04.2019 (Annexure P-1) with respect to land measuring 2 kanal 5 marlas comprising in Khewat No.402//365, Khatauni No.558, Rectangle No.21 Killa No.16/3 (2-5) situated at village Pundri Tehsil Gharaunda, District Karnal pending before respondent No.3 specifically keeping in view the mandate of Section 111-A of the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the partition proceedings as on date are pending adjudication before respondent No.3 i.e. the Assistant Collector IInd Grade, Gharaunda, Karnal since 2019. He submits that the Assistant Collector IInd Grade be directed to conclude the partition proceedings expeditiously.

  accepts notice on behalf of the State. She submits that the partition proceedings pending before the Revenue Authority would be expedited and concluded expeditiously.

After hearing counsel for the parties and perusing the record, the present petition is disposed of. The Assistant Collector IInd Grade, Gharaunda, Karnal is directed to expedite the partition proceedings pending since 2019 and conclude the same (subject to any stay order etc. passed by any higher authorities/Court) expeditiously, within three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order which the petitioners shall be liable to submit before the Collector at the earliest.
