(ORAL) This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking directions to the official respondents to conduct fair and impartial investigation in the FIR No.10 dated 26.01.2023 under Sections 304/341/323/34 of IPC, 1860 registered at Police Station Lakho Ke Behram, District Ferozepur as till date nothing has been done in the investigation i.e. only one of the accused has been arrested and statements of witnesses under Section 161 Cr.PC have not been recorded and the investigation is not being conducted at all. Notice of motion.

Mr. Adhiraj Singh, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents no.1 to 4.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that let this petition be disposed of only with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur (Ferozepur) to consider and decide the representation dated 20.02.2023 (Annexure P-1) alleged to have been submitted by the petitioner regarding arrest of the accused.
