R.P. Nagrath, J. (Oral) Petitioner seeks bail under Section 439 Cr.P.C. in FIR No. 348 dated 30.06.2014 for offences under Sections 395 and 397 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), registered at Police Station Samalkha, District Panipat.
Learned State counsel submits that the complainant has since been examined and the evidence of the prosecution has already been closed.
In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant petition may be disposed of with necessary directions to the trial Court.
Instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial Court to dispose of the case expeditiously and preferably within a period of 15 days from closing defence evidence as learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the defence evidence will be closed in short time.
