Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, petitioner has approached this Court by way of instant petition, seeking issuance of appropriate directions to official respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members from the private respondents. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been running from pillar to post but his grievance was not being redressed by the respondent authorities. Having been left with no other option, petitioner has approached the Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib-respondent No.2 by way of representation dated 08.04.2021 (Annexure P-4), but the same is also pending decision. He also submits that the petitioner will be satisfied MAMTA 2024.08.02 14:22 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment
CRM-M-17665-2021 -2in case respondent No.2 is directed to look into the matter and take appropriate steps, in accordance with law.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and after going through the case file, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib-respondent No.2 to depute a senior officer to look into the representation dated 08.04.2021 (Annexure P-4) and decide the same by passing an appropriate order thereon, strictly as per law, within a period of one month from today.
