SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 to 6, parents and relative of petitioner No.1. Additional affidavit of petitioner No.2 filed today in the Court, is taken on record.

Petitioners have limited their prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 23.01.2017 (Annexure P-5) made by petitioner No.1. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Jyoti is 05.03.1998 as per copy of Aadhaar Card (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2-Kulvinder Singh is 06.06.1991 as per copy of Aadhaar Card (Annexure P-2). They got married on 23.01.2017. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-3.

In view of the prayer made by the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of marriage of petitioners, petition is Sachin Mehta 2017.01.25 15:47 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document HIGH COURT, CHANDIGARH
