This is a petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 132 dated 12.11.2016 under sections 419, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 474 & 120-B IPC (however charges have been framed under section 120-B, 420 IPC read with section 511 IPC, 465, 467, 468, 471, 474 IPC read with section 120-B IPC) at Police Station Mataur, district SAS Nagar (Mohali). Petitioner was arrested on 24.09.2017 pursuant to FIR in question. Allegation against him is that he posed himself to be the purchaser of the land in question on the basis of agreement to sell dated 21.08.2014 which has been executed by Paramjit Singh as GPA of complainant party. He acted in connivance with co-accused and, thus, duped the complainant.

Admittedly, trial is in progress and one prosecution witness has been examined. Case is triable by Magistrate and petitioner is incarcerated Ajay Kumar 2018.08.03 15:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document for the last about eleven months. Under the circumstances, no useful
