******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.41 dated 08.05.2018 registered for offences punishable under Sections 323/324/326/506/148/149, at Police Station Sadar, Batala. Heard.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is a crossversion case in which three persons on other side suffered injuries and seven persons on the side of complainant were arrested. The petitioner has been attributed injury, which was found to be grievous in nature.

Keeping in view the fact that it is a cross-version case and it is still to be determined during investigation as to which party was aggressor, the present petition is allowed. Petitioner is directed to surrender before the police and join investigation within two weeks. It is, however, made clear that in the event of petitioner not surrendering before the investigating officer within two weeks, the order allowing bail to him shall stand withdrawn automatically.
