The petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C in case bearing FIR No.213 dated 13.12.2017 registered under Sections 143, 149, 186, 505, 506, 120-B IPC at Police Station Basti Bawa Khel, District Jalandhar. [2].

On 29.03.2023, following order was passed by this Court:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner was granted indulgence by the Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, granting anticipatory bail vide order dated 30.07.2022, thereby

granted 10 days time to the petitioner to surrender before the trial Court and in the event of surrendering, he was to be admitted on bail subject to his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate. The petitioner did not surrender before the concerned Court, due to some unavoidable circumstances arising out of his political pursuits, resulting in passing of the order dated 02.01.2023. The protection granted to the petitioner was withdrawn. Now the petitioner feels reasonable apprehension of his arrest. The allegations against the petitioner are in respect of offences under Sections 186 and 505 IPC. In CRM-M No.46663 of 2019, framing of charge has been stayed vide order dated 02.11.2019.

Notice of motion.

The petitioner undertakes to appear before the trial Court within a period of 10 days and furnish his bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court. In the event of doing so, the trial Court shall release the petitioner on interim bail to its satisfaction. Adjourned to 21.04.2023."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already appeared before the trial Court in pursuance of aforesaid order dated 29.03.2023 and has been admitted to interim bail.

This fact has not been disputed by the learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Jaswinder Pal. [5].

In view of aforesaid fact, order dated 29.03.2023 is

made absolute. The petitioner shall keep on appearing before the trial Court regularly.
