(proceedings conducted through video conferencing) ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that son of the petitioner namely Jaganpreet Singh was caused injuries by respondents No.4 to 8 on 8.2.2021 but despite the fact that one of the injuries has been declared a grievous injury, the police has not taken any action against the accused. Learned counsel, in this regard, has referred to the MLR (Annexure P-1), which indicates that the petitioner's son had sustained as many as five injuries including an incised wound.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards merits of the case or as PANKAJ KAKKAR 2021.04.27 20:05 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

( 2 ) CRM-M-17577-2021 (O&M) regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur, District Gurdaspur to look into the matter and to dispose off the representation dated 16.2.2021 (Annexure P-2) expeditiously in accordance with law.

A copy of this order alongwith copy of representation dated 16.2.2021 (Annexure P-2) be sent to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur, District Gurdaspur so as to enable him to do the needful at the earliest.
