The petitioner prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondent No.2 and 3 to promote her to the post of Anganwari Worker on the basis of the guidelines issued on 03.01.2023. 2.

In fact, a large number of writ petitions including the Civil Writ Petition No. 3027 of 2023 (Neelam Rani and Others v. State of Punjab and Others, decided on 14.02.2023) have been filed in this Court challenging the instructions of the subsequent policy decision taken by the competent authority while withdrawing the instructions dated 03.01.2023. 3.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that the present writ petition be disposed of in terms of the decision taken in the judgment rendered in Neelam Rani's case (supra).
