(Oral) The present petition has been preferred by the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No.63 dated 07.03.2014, for offence punishable under Sections 420 and 354 of the Indian Penal Code (in short 'IPC') registered at Police Station Tripri Town, District Patiala on the basis of compromise (Annexure P2).

Respondent No.2/complainant stated to be residing in Singapore was served through Ministry of External Affairs as per communication received from Under Secretary to Government of India but she fail to turn up to say something in the matter. As the complainant/respondent No.2 is not forthcoming to admit the factum of compromise, there is no option with the Court except to dismiss the petition with liberty to the petitioners to take appropriate action, at an appropriate stage.
