**** INDERJIT SINGH, J.(Oral) Petitioner Lakhwant Singh & others have preferred this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking directions to respondent Nos. 1 to 4 to restrain respondent Nos. 5 to 17 from harassing and threatening the petitioners and to protect their life and liberty at the hands of private respondents No. 5 to 17.

Learned counsel for the petitioners only prays for the relief that the representation dated 21.07.2016 (Annexure P-2), moved to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran- respondent No.2, by petitioner No.1 Lakhwant Singh be considered and he does not press the other relief asked in this petition.

In view of above, respondent No.2 Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran is directed to look into the said representation dated 21.07.2016 (Annexure P-2) and pass appropriate order within two months after receiving copy of this order, as per law.
