**** HARI PAL VERMA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No. 41 dated 18.5.2017 under Sections 353, 186, 201, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Khanauri, District Sangrur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to the order dated July 18, 2017 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Lakhvir Singh, does not dispute the aforesaid fact and states that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required at this stage. I have heard learned counsel for the parties.
