AMIT RAWAL J. (Oral) The petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of direction to official respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect their life and liberty from the hands of private respondents No.4 to 8.

Petitioners are stated to be major and have solemnized marriage on 16.06.2018 which is against the wishes of their parents. Factum of marriage has been pleaded with reference to photographs (Annexure P-4). Petitioners have an apprehension at the hands of private respondents No.4 to 8 and in this regard, they have submitted a representation dated 17.06.2018 (Annexure P-5) to the Superintendent of Police, Hisar - respondent No.2, but no action has been taken so far.

Mr. Vansh Malhotra, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of respondents No.4 and 5.

Both the petitioners are present in Court and are identified by their counsel.

Learned counsel for the private respondents submits that mother of petitioner No.1 wants to meet her daughter. Learned counsel for the petitioners when asked whether the girl is ready to talk to her mother, she flatly refused to do so.

In the aforesaid scenario, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2- Superintendent of Police, Hisar to look into the representation of the petitioners and decide the same and if required, provide the protection to the life and liberty of the petitioners by providing adequate security.
