Petitioner in this case bearing FIR No.68 dated 19.02.2008 registered at Police Station Sector-36, Chandigarh had absented several times. Firstly, he absented on 01.12.2008 and was granted bail on 03.02.2009. He again absented on 08.07.2010 and was allowed bail on 07.10.2010. Then he again absented on 09.12.2010 and for four years, his presence could not be procured and ultimately he was declared proclaimed offender on 09.04.2014.

The above conduct of the petitioner does not call for exercising the discretion to extend the benefit of anticipatory bail to him. Dismissed.
