Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner got recorded FIR No.212 dated 16.07.2015 at Police Station Dasuya, District Hoshiarpur, against his in-laws. One of their relatives named in the FIR, is a police official and putting pressure on the petitioner to withdraw the FIR.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2 to look into this grievance of the petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law. However, it is made clear that nothing contained in this order be read as expression of opinion of this Court on merits regarding the grievance of the petitioner or with regard to anything stated in the above mentioned FIR.
