Main Case The petitioners allege that they have performed their marriage against the wishes of their parents and thus, they fear for their lives and liberty. A representation dated 22.03.2023 (Annexure P-5) has been submitted to respondent No.2 but he has not taken any action thereupon. Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 3 only. Mr. Harkanwar Jeet Singh, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the State of Punjab-respondents No.1 to 3 and waives service. Three copies of the paper book be supplied to him during the course of the day.

Considering the nature of the order being passed there is no necessity to serve the private respondents or to seek a reply from any one of the respondents.
